The stay was all about exploring Nantes and enjoying the local charm. The Botanical Garden of Nantes was just a pleasant walk away, and the atmosphere around the hotel was so inviting, especially with the beautiful parks nearby. I loved the breakfast with handmade local produce. it really showcased the local flavors! There was an incident with parking being a bit tricky to navigate, but overall, it didn’t take away from the enjoyable experience we had in this lovely city.

The stay at Voltaire Opera Nantes Centre was delightful! Nestled in a charming historic building, the top-floor attic room I had was full of character with its exposed beams and skylights—a perfect nod to the quaint ambiance of Nantes! Every morning, I indulged in a treat of a breakfast featuring local delights, which was served in an inviting space. The staff was wonderfully warm and genuinely caring, making me feel right at home throughout my stay.

The room had no air conditioning, making it difficult to sleep in hot weather!!! Additionally, the window would not lock properly, causing security concerns!!! An upgrade in bathroom facilities could really enhance the stay experience!!!

The hotel features beautiful traditional French decor and a charming room with skylights and exposed beams, creating a cozy atmosphere. Location is a major plus, with easy access to fantastic restaurants and attractions. However, the shower setup in the top-floor room was disappointing. it was a shower head attached to the bath taps, made washing difficult.

The bed was super comfy, and the bathroom layout was nice. The room was a bit small, so maybe not great for a long stay, but it worked for just one night. We had an amazing stay with friends! The location is perfect, with cafes and restaurants just a short walk away. The hotel is stylish and offers free Wi-Fi, which was a big plus. It’s a great spot to explore nearby attractions. We especially enjoyed the breakfast served with fresh pastries and coffee.
One downside, the room we had was quite small, but it worked for us since we were out and about most of the time.
